These terms explain permitted use of the OncoToolkit website, generated results, original content, and source code.
Effective: 14 July 2026

OncoToolkit is used here as the public brand name. This notice does not represent that OncoToolkit is an incorporated company or a registered trademark.
1. Acceptance and intended use
By accessing or using https://oncotoolkit.com, you agree to these terms. OncoToolkit provides clinical decision-support, educational, and research tools primarily for qualified healthcare professionals.
The tools do not replace individualized professional judgment, current primary literature, clinical guidelines, institutional protocols, or specialist consultation.
2. Ownership and scope
Original OncoToolkit source code, explanatory wording, graphics, interface design, content selection, and arrangement are proprietary and protected to the extent allowed by applicable law.
OncoToolkit does not claim ownership of medical facts, mathematical formulae, algorithms, scoring methods, published clinical systems, third-party publications, software, names, logos, or trademarks belonging to their respective rights holders.
3. Permitted professional use
You may:
- use the hosted calculators for lawful clinical decision support, research, education, and internal professional workflows;
- copy or export results generated from data you entered for patient records, clinical communication, research, or teaching;
- share links to public OncoToolkit pages;
- quote limited portions of original content with clear attribution where permitted by applicable law; and
- use ordinary browser caching and legitimate search-engine indexing.
These permissions do not grant a license to reproduce the source code or republish the website as a collection, database, product, or competing service.
4. Prohibited use
Unless OncoToolkit gives prior written permission or applicable law requires otherwise, you may not:
- copy, modify, translate, adapt, distribute, sublicense, sell, host, mirror, or create derivative works from original OncoToolkit materials;
- systematically scrape, harvest, extract, or republish original content or calculator implementations;
- use original OncoToolkit materials to create or train a substantially duplicative product, dataset, website, or service;
- remove or obscure copyright, attribution, or proprietary notices; or
- use OncoToolkit branding in a way that implies endorsement, affiliation, or ownership.
5. Source-code access and GitHub
Public visibility of source code does not make the project open source. GitHub and its users retain rights provided by GitHub's applicable terms, including viewing and forking through GitHub functionality. Those platform rights do not grant broader permission to deploy, modify, redistribute, commercialize, or create derivative works.
6. User data and generated results
OncoToolkit does not claim ownership of patient information, clinical facts, or other data entered by a user. You are responsible for ensuring that your data use complies with privacy, confidentiality, institutional, and professional requirements.
Please also review the Privacy Policy.
7. Third-party materials
Third-party dependencies, publications, clinical models, staging systems, scoring systems, names, logos, and other materials remain governed by their respective licenses, terms, and rights. References are descriptive and do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation.
8. No warranty and limitation of liability
OncoToolkit is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OncoToolkit will not be liable for damages arising from access to or use of the website, its source code, content, calculators, or generated results. Use of the tools does not create a doctor-patient relationship.
9. Permissions, concerns, and changes
For licensing requests, permissions, missing attribution, or copyright concerns, email support@oncotoolkit.com.
These terms may be updated as the service changes. The effective date displayed above will be revised when material changes are published. Nothing in these terms restricts rights that cannot lawfully be restricted.
